This is because the Trump administration is gunning to:
1. Stop providing security to the EU
2. Pull 4 member States out of the EU
3. Allow Russia to invade the EU without consequence.
The new NSS draft shows that MAGA is chiefly on the side of tearing apart Europe, and “letting” Ukraine ascend to the EU is completely fine with them because they intend to backstab the coalition anyways.
