There is no way muddy footprints or "swim tracks" can last 35 millions years. How many ice ages is that, hundreds? Erosion, wind, rain, hurricanes, tornados, earthquakes, seismic activity, volcanoes, mountain formation, for how long? It's just not possible.
And it's testable, poke a hole in the ocean floor or muddy river bed, it gets washed away and filled in under minute. Any muddy footprints along a river will get washed over by rain or flooding in no time.
But somehow these swim marks lasted for 35 million years? Why continue to believe in something that is just not believable.
For the record Earth is round, its 12 billion years old, contrails are just condensation.

I can see finding footprints on land.
I can imagine grooves left by large bodies scraping the ground causing a pathway, but I don’t see them here.
What you’re saying they found is not what the article says they found. If I’m reading you correctly. They didn’t find footprints in the water, just grooves. Maybe the bottom of this lake was a bit rocky.

Bro. A body of water can slowly dry up while the soft, sediment layer at the bottom retains its form. Then, over time, it can be covered by another layer, and then worn down, revealing past impressions. All of your confusion would be alleviated if you did 10 minutes of searching on the internet. You have the modern day library of Alexandria at your fingertips and you very willingly choose to forgo it.
