Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said her government is not ready to sign a massive trade agreement with South American countries this week. “Signing the agreement in the coming days would be premature,” Meloni told Italian lawmakers. She added that it “it is necessary for us to wait for the further support package for the agricultural sector to be finalized, and we will then have to discuss it with our farmers.”
