At this point it’s a construction site so there’s nothing to preserve.
Just get used to it. There’s a decent argument that the addition was needed and Trump’s a builder.

Yeah the “preservation group” came in waaaaaaay too late for that. The old east wing (that was already barely used) is long gone. There’s nothing to preserve.
This was 100% political and nothing more. Just a vain attempt at stopping something ”because orange man bad”.
