It’s a fake book written by certain people to discredit the Bible.

There are so many conflicting early Christian gospels that it becomes more or less impossible to separate truth from lies in them using reason. They all largely conflict, they have different accounts, different metaphysics and so on. In one gnostic gospel the demiurge is YHVH and he’s evil or misguided, and Satan is a redemptive figure or smthn, in the next the demiurge is Satan, and so on. In one Jesus isn’t crucified, or isn’t divine in nature, or is divine in x way, and in the next those things can all be diff.
This is because there was an enormous variety of beliefs amongst many of the sects that emerged after Jesus, oftentimes many many years after him.
How this relates to what the man Jesus taught, God alone knows.
Just as random sort of examples. If you’re looking for truth in apocryphal gospels, good luck!
(Granted, the canonical gospels are just as messy, tidied up a lil of course, but you can see through them)
