With not just these countries, but America, UK, Australia, France, South Africa, China, ect. I feel like folks should do more open source stuff and make something like this with games, like with mods for example, and be able to allow people to see stuff that has been hidden by higher ups.

I wonder where the US ranks on that list of suppressed speech. Americans are drinking from a fire hose of propaganda every day, so that has a similar suppressing effect as making things directly illegal.
