Submission statement: It’s a massive thing here in Hungary, since after ww2 hundreds of thousands of Hungarians were deported from their home’s in Slovakia, often with only their clothes on their backs as the vengeful Czechs and Slovaks moved into their properties. It is a massive national trauma that is rarely discussed, and the fact that the laws that legally allowed such acts still exists in 2025 is an absolute travesty. And the EU does nothing about it.
