Common sense just keeps getting less and less common.

This is the same basic problem so many other sites/apps have, ***because it involves the same process of meeting total strangers either at either side’s home base instead of a neutral location.*** If it’s their home base you’re getting ambushed and if it’s your home base you’re getting looted.
Craigslist had/has a reputation for getting people hurt.
Meet people at a third place and get to know them at least a little before meeting them any place else. Thieves who are fishing for the dumbest sucker in town will not go through with that, they’ll just write you off as ***not gullible*** and then they’ll move on.
