Politicians pass laws that conveniently cannot be broken by politicians. They design the maze, walk through it, then stand at the exit telling the public everything is perfectly legal. Amazing how the rules always seem to work that way.

Public funds are handed to organizations. Those organizations suddenly discover a deep, overwhelming urge to donate massive sums back to political campaigns. In Minnesota’s case, day cares somehow coughed up $35 million in two years because nothing says “childcare” like acting as a high-volume political cash conduit.

And let’s be crystal clear: the problem is not the day care managers. They’re small players operating inside a system engineered above them.

The responsibility sits exactly where it belongs with the politicians who created, enabled, and benefited from this scheme.

Someone should go to jail. And no, it shouldn’t be the people running nap time and snack breaks. It should be the lawmakers who turned public money into a private campaign slush fund while hiding behind laws they wrote to protect themselves.

If this were done by ordinary citizens, it would be prosecuted without hesitation. But when politicians do it, it’s suddenly “policy.”

That’s not democracy.

That’s institutionalized corruption, and pretending otherwise is part of the scam.

Look at any politician’s starting wealth and current/ending wealth. Now look at their salary. It won’t take long to realize they’re all in on it.
