It was originally a Christian symbol, highjacked by Freemasonry and other gnostic groups. It represents God’s omniscience and presence with us. Look up “Orthodox All seeing eye icon” or something along those lines. They’re in many orthodox churches as well

Wouldn’t Jesus on the cross above the eye of providence be blasphemy instead of the other way around? Just saying, I think you’ve got symbology reversed. Honestly the crucifixion is pretty negative and a little creepy, somebody help Christ off that cross.
