The ‘Beale’ Treasure! Most likely was found and laundered through the Federal Government when all gold was called in to be exchanged for cash. 💰 Because it was buried below what is today’s Bedford City Treasury Offices..
The treasure was buried in an underground ‘vault’ beneath “Liberty Savings Bank”, where it should be. A pre-modern version of a “Safety Deposit Box”. The location was disclosed by a single number. (2906) @ (If you subtract 6 from 29 you get 23) The #23 building in Liberty, in 1822 (may have been under construction) was the ‘Liberty Savings Bank”. You can find it on a Smithsonian Copy of the County Clerk Assessors Map of Bedford from 1891.

S. – I knew that (2906) was the key, because it was a number 900 words above the next highest number and even if you combined all 3 letters he sent to Mr. Morriess, the word count never got that high. So I figured, it was there to stand out. and once I got the map, and saw how it was constructed, I knew I just had to find the right building number. I subtracted first and got the Liberty Savings Bank.
If you add the numbers (29 + 6) you get 35, the United Methodist Church, which was right next door to the Liberty Savings Bank and still stands there today..
So between those two buildings, which both under construction at the time of the story of Thomas Beale and the description of a Duggar’s put brick vault, underneath or between those two buildings would have been possible and smart, as in, what two buildings would most likely survive as is in a growing town?
A Bank and a Church.. Thus, if the treasure office is at the location the bank was, maybe it’s because they found the vault and to avoid detection by moving the gold and diamonds etc, the city just transformed the bank into the treasury office and no one would be the wiser as shipments of precious gems and bullion where being shipped from that location to Washington in exchange for cash..
That’s my theory of the case..

It was believed that the 3 ciphers were decidable by associating the numbers with words from a known text, like the Declaration of Independence..
I believe that is true and if you find the right text you will get plenty of information, however, I believe the location ‘key’ was that single number and by setting of the cipher with the word number association, he was able to ‘hide’ the most important factor (2906) in plain sight.
