First they broke the world rules based order against UN resolutions, and I said nothing because I don’t care about UN resolutions

Then they broke the rules based order against the sovereignty of a country led by a dictator for natural resource profiting, but i said nothing because Fuck Maduro

Then they broke it to avenge a small island communist state they had beef with and I said nothing because I’m not a communist

Then they did military strikes against democratic leftist countries that had a lot of narcos, and I said nothing because I don’t have a lot of narcos

Finally, they came for my Greenland territory, destroying all my confidence in the world’s stage and leaving me alone, as by then, I had noone on my side

    -EU apparently

Submission statement: In the hours after the capture of Venezuelan president Nicolás Maduro, Trump has extended the threats to other Latin American countries.

He has said “something will have to be done about Mexico”, noting president Claudia Sheinbaum does not run the country, but cartels do. He has accused Colombian president Gustavo Petro of trafficking drugs and warned him to “watch his ass”, while Elon Musk asked Petro on Twitter if he preferred Plata or Plomo. Trump has also said Cuba is “something they’ll end up talking about”.

These are pretty unprecedented threats to sovereign Latin American nations in recent decades, calling back to the days of US imperialism in the region under the pretext of the Monroe Doctrine.
