I still find the EU attitude bizarre. Manufacturing fetishism isn’t good, but I can at least understand it. Farming fetishism makes no sense because working on a farm sucks with low margins and most people can’t remember the last ancestor doing it
The EU should be kissing the ground that Paraguay walks on that they’re a right wing authoritarian one party state and therefore only recognize Taiwan, else there’d be a China-Mercosur deal right now and steal their thunder
