That Jack Ryan clip hits different now: everyone shrugs off Venezuela until the show points out it has more oil than Saudi Arabia and massive mineral wealth, and suddenly you realize the chaos isn’t an accident, it’s the motive.
The republican party is truly vibes based.
America first means invading and running Venezuela, america giving 40 billion in taxpayer dollars to argentina is america first. Taxation via tarrifs is now good.
Why? Venezuela nationalised its oil in 1976. Why nothing until now?
Could it possibly be because Venezuela decided to trade without dollars?
Without exorbitant privilege the US would be bankrupt. Every country that’s tried to move away from using dollars in international trade has been attacked and had regime change.
