SS: Denmark has requested a meeting with US officials on the matter if Greenland. The fact that we have even gotten to this point makes me wish to flair this as "meme". I also think this sub should take note as this is a genuinely serious matter.

Just over a year ago, in Italy, I was chatting to some friends about the possibility of a second Trump term. For how outlandish all his views were, none of us could comprehend anything but a Kamala victory
At the time, I remember thinking “I wonder what a Trump term would look like”, almost as a joke, as something so fantastical it’d have to be impossible
What we are seeing right now is far worse than anything I evisioned back then
Marco does seem like the more level-headed one in trump’s administration. Seems to take what Trump says and make it look more palatable/reasonable from what I have seen of him. Even if I still disagree.
If Denmark was going to choose anyone in the US to speak to, that’d be him
what happens if the USA buys greenland, but Trump renegs and never sends the money and the Greenlanders arent deemed to having standing to sue or even if they did the Supreme Court goes hurr durr sucks to be you
What concessions must Denmark make to prevent the USA from annexing Greenland?
