I’m a big fan of Vice Grip Garage on YouTube and in this short video Derek and Jessica Bieri detail the 5 reasons they left the Minneapolis area for Tennessee three years ago. He’s not political in any way, but the first four reasons are directly related to political policies that made living in MN no longer tenable for someone who wanted to grow a business and a brand.

It’s funny, I’ve lived in California my whole life so Minnesota has always seemed a world away to me. For most of my life, I don’t think I ever really heard anything about anything that goes on there or gave it any thought other than “that place is cold as hell.” I went to Minneapolis for work maybe 12 years ago and it seemed like a nice and fun city.
But the past 6 years, it’s seemingly become a regular part of the national discussion and pretty much only because it’s a dumpster-fire.
