      Ethically or morally, I don’t want the UK to align with China, but realistically it’s probably in our geostrategic interests, as well as Europe’s to realign with China. Would be a more useful ally against the Russians than the Americans who seem to be flip flopping between normalcy and an FSB occupied government every 4 years which threatens economic and, literal warfare against us.

      My MIL is in an exercise group at her gym. Apparently one of the people in the group has been diagnosed with cancer. She was talking about this with one of the other workout friends, who is a MAGA, and this lady’s response was “I don’t know how to pray for him, I don’t know if he’s been saved or not.” Absolutely deranged.

      I think part of the reason people aren’t reacting to the fascism in our highest levels of government is because they aren’t “cool” fascists

      I think the common person thinks fascism and they think of Star Wars or something of that sense – stylish uniforms, ‘grand’ weapons/technology/monuments etc, godlike figures and well written, passionate political speeches. All evil, of course, but a “cool” evil that you can make edits on tik tok to

      Whereas in real life our fascist reality is a bunch of equally evil, but incredibly lame, sad losers. At the highest levels of government. I haven’t seen much attempts in media to paint fascists as “uncool” aesthetically

      I hope everybody can understand I’m not saying fascism is cool, but that fascism is regularly linked to its aesthetics, and we have a fascist government with 0 aura, which is why (partially) I think so many in this country are underreacting to what’s happening

      This Whole Milk campaign that RFK and HHS are trying so hard to push on X the Everything App was 100% supposed to be a Raw Milk campaign and the admin’s lawyers had to inform them what a stupid idea that was.

      The marketing money was already gone, so they pivoted to whole milk instead. It’s so incredibly obvious.

      Playing a chill US game in Victoria 3 where I just concentrate on becoming the biggest economy and imperialism in the Americas, but I look over at the old world and see the AI Ottomans have somehow undergone a full resurgence. Egypt brought back under the empire, Moldova and Georgia taken from the Russians and they’re winning against Austria and Russia at the same time. What the hell lmao, pretty cool though
