Any Russian involvement is purely nudging Trump in the direction he would go anyway.

Geopolitics is fake so I doubt it. There is a level of collaboration between all countries at the top level even when they pretend to be in conflict.
But if I suspend my belief for a second and pretend nation states make individual decisions for the sake of their people, I don’t necessarily think he exclusively works for Russia’s interests. Sure he’s working to wreck NATO which is good for Putin, but he’s also just toppled Venezuela and is trying to destabilise Iran, both Russian allies. So his policies are a mixed bag in that regard.
