Macron will seek EU activation of its anti-coercion instrument after US tariffs linked to Greenland. Trump announced 10% tariffs on eight European countries, threatening 25% without a Greenland deal. France says the move is unacceptable and has coordinated a response with European partners. EU ambassadors will discuss retaliation using the bloc’s most powerful, though untested, trade tool. The dispute also jeopardises ratification of last year’s EU-US trade agreement.

  2. Good. Hit America with everything you’ve got and show the coward what the fuck is up.

Isn’t Germany withdrawing their 15 troops from Greenland?

As an American, I’m begging, pleading EU leaders to respond forcefully. But given every liberal politician’s track record, they’ll make some token lip service and then we can repeat this news cycle 2-3 years later when MAGA sets their eyes further East than Greenland.

  4. There was a time when Macron was the most pro-american figure in French politics.

    Absolutely generational damage.

  5. Another act of BLATANT AGRESSION from the Eurosoviet Union. America should push for everything west of Berlin AT THE MINIMUM in response to such BLATANT WARMONGERING 😡😡😡

Don’t they understand that president Trump NEEDS Greenland for mental reasons????? So much for the “empathetic” liberalism 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Germany has to approve it, otherwise it has no chance of being implemented. I think if they were prepared to do that they would also not withdraw their troops from Greenland. Merz is definetely the weakest chancellor in german history which is impressive, considering his predecessor is Scholz.

    >As members of NATO, we are committed to strengthening Arctic security as a shared transatlantic interest. The pre-coordinated Danish exercise „Arctic Endurance“ conducted with Allies, responds to this necessity. It poses no threat to anyone.

    >We stand in full solidarity with the Kingdom of Denmark and the people of Greenland. Building on the process begun last week, we stand ready to engage in a dialogue based on the principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity that we stand firmly behind.

    >Tariff threats undermine transatlantic relations and risk a dangerous downward spiral. We will continue to stand united and coordinated in our response. We are committed to upholding our sovereignty.

See, even the UK are tired of this stunt.
Pissing the EU was bad, but pissing the UK is worse.

  8. EU ain’t doing shit man. Just like the American people ain’t doing shit. Trump has always been right about his evaluation of people. They’re cucks. They’re pussies. They won’t do shit. And this is demonstrated daily.
