I’m kinda tired of framing Trump actions in a benefitting China and Russia way. At this point, it’s very much a distraction from the problem that is the entanglement between the US and its allies, making it costly to distance themselves from the US.
You see this attitude a lot in EU politicians, where they absolutely refuse to criticize Trump or the US and instead go, “Think about China and Russia!” Case in point, [Kaja Kallas’ response to Trump’s threats on annexing Greenland.](https://xcancel.com/kajakallas/status/2012633517486702617#m)

I follow Steve Rosenberg’s reports on what’s in Russian newspapers. Provides a glimpse into the informational world of many Russians and what messages the government is pushing.
Not that they’re too surprising most of the time. Glazing Trump when he does something Moscow likes, and admonishing him when he doesn’t.
