Some people in this sub are saying ‘We could have gotten the deal without the drama’. That may or may not be true, it’s hard to say.
I do think that we could say though, that a Democrat wouldn’t even have asked. Wanting to get additional rights in places like this is not a thought that passes through the heads of Democrats.
Look at what Starmer in the British Labor party just did. He gave up the Chagos islands for literally nothing.
And the British labor party is basically the sister party of the Democrats with a long history of cooperation and training activists, NGO’s, etc. A Starmer deputy had an NGO in the U.S. trying to get X banned.

Anybody who didn’t see this coming is allowing Trump to live in their head rent free. He seems to always make a grand statement, liberals go batshit and claim that either it can’t happen or the end of the world is nigh. They get the vapors about the DRAMA. Next thing you know, it did happen with little fanfare.
Love him or hate him, he follows through in helping this country.

lol once again Trump comes out the winner. This stuff never ceases to amaze me, every time I start to think “why is he doing this…”, he comes out on top again. In a couple weeks all the drama will be forgotten, and the end result will be we eventually strengthen ourselves.
Just remember folks – we could have been stuck with Kamala lol.

Leftist and Europeans crying in the corner lol. Another win for Trump. He showed the world what it means to negotiate with the US! If the US could wants something it gets it, simple as that.

No definitive agreement from Greenland or Denmark on this “framework” has been reported anywhere.
What Trump announced after Davos is his claim that he and NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte worked out a “framework of a future deal” related to Greenland and broader Arctic cooperation.
