>Even if a compromise is found on Greenland, however, a sense is spreading in Europe that the historically unique friendship known as the West will never be the same again. The showdown, on top of other tensions with Trump, is bringing home to many in Europe that the relationship has turned toxic.

Expect more and more Atlanticists to switch over to this mindset.
Europe needs to divest monetarily and militarily from the US.
I don’t mean sell all treasuries today and attack American bases in Europe, but stop further investment and gain the militarily capacity only the US has like space based assets.
They don’t behave as allies, don’t treat them as one.
