John Wayne Gacy Wasn't Alone
In 1978, John Wayne Gacy was arrested at a gas station near his Chicago home. The police thought they had caught a lone serial killer. But when Gacy arrived at the station, he said something strange: "Who else do we have in the police station? There are others involved." These weren't the ramblings of a madman trying to deflect blame. Gacy's own employees, David Cram and Michael Rossi, later confirmed that Gacy had told them he was part of a crime syndicate responsible for killing more than 30 boys. The pair even admitted to helping Gacy dig graves in his crawlspace.
During interrogations, Gacy named four people as involved in the network. Two of them were Phillip Paske and John David Norman. Paske was a convicted criminal and a cross dresser who worked for Gacy's company. He was also the right hand man of John David Norman, orchestrator of one of the largest child trafficking organizations in America. Norman lived a short drive from Gacy's house. Both Norman and Paske, according to Gacy, were heavily involved in producing child p**n material. Gacy himself described Paske as a dangerous child pimp who procured boys for films.
Gacy reportedly distributed 12 keys to his house. Cram, Rossi, Norman, and Paske all allegedly had access and used the property while Gacy was out of town. This raises a chilling question: was Gacy's house functioning as one of Norman's so called Delta Dorms?

The Delta Project
John David Norman first appeared on law enforcement radar in 1973, just days after another serial killer made headlines. Dean Corll, known as the Candy Man, had been shot dead by a teenager named Elmer Wayne Henley. When interrogated, Henley revealed that for the past months, he and another teen had been helping lure young to Dean Corll, who was assaulting and killing them. However, although the public remembers Corll as one of the most prolific LONE serial killers, he admitted to Henley that he belonged to a vast underground organization out of Dallas that bought and sold boys that supposedly stretched all the way to Hollywood.
Around the same time, a young man named Charles Brisendine contacted the FBI concerned for his safety. He had been invited to Dallas as a "fellow" by a "sponsor" of something called the Odyssey Foundation, an organization that, on the surface, helped mentor young men by connecting them with an older sponsor. His sponsor was the main operator of this network, John David Norman. However, Brisendine soon realized the truth that Norman was running a trafficking ring disguised as a mentorship program. While at Norman's home, Brisendine found files on various "fellows." Some of the missing ones had the word "Kill" stamped on their records. He also overheard Norman becoming agitated when Corll's murders were mentioned during a phone call.
The FBI raided Norman's apartment in August 1973. They found thousands of index cards cataloging between 50,000 and 100,000 clients. According to Dallas Police Lt. Harold Hancock, the list included prominent public and political figures. The index cards were sent to the State Department for review. Shortly after, they were destroyed. Officials claimed the files were irrelevant nd no client was ever arrested.

The California Connection
In 1973, a man named Steven Dale Ahern wrote to Houston detectives claiming he had once been a male prostitute and actor in prnographic films. He said a photographer named Roy Ames ran a vast empire exploiting young boys, controlling nearly a third of the underground market at one point. Ahern claimed that Ames knew Dean Corll and that he was one of the main „stars“ of said movies. He even said he met Corll through Ames and was invited to an orgy at Corll's Houston apartment in 1971. Authorities eventually arrested tentacles of Ames's operation, including prominent Hollywood-based prnographers, Guy Strait and William Byars. Byars was an heir to an oil fortune with close family ties to both president Eisenhower and FBI director J. Edgar Hoover. He reportedly supplied Hoover with underage boys during private visits. Byars skipped bail and fled to Europe.
When Roy Ames was finally arrested, he admitted to working with Strait and Byars but insisted they were small time compared to his network. During a 1975 raid on an Ames warehouse, police seized enormous amounts of material. Some of it featured 11 of Dean Corll's victims. Corll's accomplice David Owen Brooks admitted that some of Corll's earliest victims were intended to be sent to California.

Witnesses Who Never Testified
John David Norman seemed untouchable. Every time he was arrested, something happened to protect him. After his first arrest in Dallas, Norman was charged only with marijuana possession and conspiracy to commit s*domy. He was released on bail paid by an anonymous California benefactor. He fled to Illinois under a fake name and continued his operation.
In Illinois, Norman was arrested again after abusing more minors. But the key witness against him was gruesomely murdered on his way home before he could testify. In May 1977, a judge inexplicably ordered Norman's early release. He moved back to Chicago with Phillip Paske and less than a year later, Norman was arrested again after a boy named Michael Salcido reported him to police. In similar fashion, right before Salcido could testify, he was found murdered in his car with his throat slit. Investigators blamed local drug dealers. Just like before.
Two witnesses. Both set to testify against Norman. Both murdered by supposed third parties right before their court appearances.

The Killer Clown We Never Saw
John Wayne Gacy was executed in 1994. The courts convicted him as a lone killer, but the evidence exposed in this article tells a different story. Gacy named Norman and Paske. His employees confirmed the syndicate. His house may have functioned as a sort of dorm for trafficking activities. Gacy was not the top of the chain. He was one node in a machine designed to operate with impunity. The machine was never dismantled. The names were never released…and the public forgot it.
