The person writing the article clearly knows NOTHING about guns. They claim it was a suppressed pistol with a laser sight.  Neither of those is accurate.  It has a red dot sight which, for those not educated in firearms, does not project a laser.  Its simply a sight you look through with a red dot on the glass of the sight.  The barrel is threaded for a suppressor but it has the thread protector installed so no, there is not a suppressor. Regardless, the agents were at risk as.the detainee was armed.  Glad none of the agents were harmed.
