I shall for the sake of broad positivity avoid making reference to the state of medicine in the world’s other superpower. This is genuinely good news for China and everyone. The uniquely fast clinical trial timeline China enjoys compared to the west can be critical for the development of new drugs and allows for the rapid development and testing of new early stage treatments. International cooperation on biotech and medicine between the west and China can lead to potentially staggering improvements in medicine and at least reductions in cost that could save thousands of lives. Science and medicine are not a zero sum game and it is a positive thing for us all for the field to develop.

  2. So the future is Americans buying their licensed chinese drugs vs smuggling in chinese made chinese drugs
