SS: All these events keep happening in Minnesota. What are the odds of the Somali fraud thing, the ICE shootings, the lawmakers killed there a while back and of course George Floyd six years ago?
The politician was going to snitch about the fraud. Got popped. Then the fraud comes out. Now as a distraction, the democrats have used 3rd party private groups to go online and convince people to fight ice resulting in the murder of a civilian.

I don’t think Minnesota has voted republican since the 70’s… might be the only state.

Trump/ICE are picking the battlefield.
You don’t want to choose a red state; because then it could turn your voters against you. Ex: targeting Austin would catch tons of illegal immigrants but upset swing voters in Texas.
You rotate/probe some places as you figure it out. Ex: Chicago, Portland, LA.
You don’t want to choose a strong blue state, they push back. Ex: California resisting ICE and willing to throw money at lawyers.
You need to refine your tactics and get infrastructure ready. Ex: build detention centers in Texas and Florida, get some cases in the court to find the “best legal arguments”
I think Minneapolis ended up just working out. Seasoned protest culture since George Floyd rights, recent controversies, well known but relatively weak. I don’t think we have a perfect idea of what’s in trump’s head but he is looking for a fight and finally finding it
