Because we’re all so jaded at this point that the first assumption is that anything that happens must have been a setup staged by someone (especially if it involves people from the other side of the aisle). It’s the same reason that people on the Left convinced themselves that the attempted assassination of Trump was a staged specticle. The man will doubtlessly be charged and we’ll see what comes out during the investigation

Here we go again. Why does everything that goes against someone’s belief have to be staged or fake? Trumps assassination attempts were staged, Omar’s attempted was staged, Jan 6 was staged etc.

There are some oddities. I think hes an idiot and a lunatic, but why not attack with a deadly weapon? Why a syringe full of mystery liquid and not something messier or the old milk shake attack? There’s certainly some evidence that suggests it was staged, but I dont beleive it was yet.

No. It’s really not hard to imagine that a lot of other people also dislike her, and in any significantly-sized group, statistically some of them are gonna be batshit and unhinged.
The death of nuance is so exhausting, people act like condemnation of something bad is somehow an endorsement of the person it was done to. We are a nation of laws. Omar’s attacker should be thrown in jail, and I also hope she’s kicked the fuck out of here for immigration fraud.

Her awareness is flawed. Security is garbage. He sprayed her with something AND she advanced twards him as a response. Had he had a knife, or any weapon she would have been injured or killed. She should know to back away and let security handle it. Seems a bit weird to me but so does that guy.
