Warsh is a great and very qualified pick in a vacuum. He’s someone who I’d have no problem with under normal circumstances where Fed independence isn’t in the balance.
But given the pressure from Trump we’ll see how much he pushes for rate cuts when chair. Given the current environment – I’m expecting him to function as an inflation dove if confirmed.
