This is just another expression of the “I’ll move to Canada if…” sentiment. It’s been a thing since the 1820s. There is no actual sentiment for secession.
Seriously though, I don’t think anyone in Minnesota actually supports it. It would just distract from actually dealing with the problems that the Trump administration is causing in Minnesota.
