Horrible shit. A “deal” will just extend the life of the regime and its oppression. The recent massacres will be to the wretched regime what Tienanmen Square was for the CCP.
A paranoid, schizophrenic, theocratic regime like Iran can never be reasoned with or treated like a rational actor. While I oppose boots-on-the ground regime change, sanctions should be kept and the Iranian economy should be allowed to completely collapse in order to extend the collapse of the regime, and ensure a revolution. Israel should also be allowed a free hand to carry out any strike on Iranian territory that kills any IRGC commander no matter how big or how small.
The Iranian people should not be forced to settle for a “moderate” version of the same regime that massacred 35,000 people in 2 days and mocked their deaths, but with some material prosperity
