He made a boat load of promises for free shit. Turns out most of his free shit was counting on the State to raise taxes and ship that “free” cash to NYC. Turn out NY State Gov Hochul is already well aware that raising taxes has already lost the State many $billions in ongoing tax revenue. So she’s actually smart enough to tell him **no**. Yet he keeps promising free shit the city absolutely can’t afford.
