It’s not that suspicious. This is a fill in spot until the next round of elections. Republican vote in the primaries was split 50/50 between Wambsganss and Huffines. Early voting was also a little hurt because we were iced in and were watching our children while working from home the majority of the week. Wouldn’t hit the panic button, but the GOP needed this wake up call in Texas. Fort Worth, like all major Texas cities, is purple.

Are there actually people in this sub that think the house won’t flip in the midterms?

Just remember the Texas legislature only meets in odd number years so this is literally irrelevant.
