Can you provide a source on the FBI note about him being in Portugal at the time, please?
I’m aware he left the office the day before Maddie went missing and didn’t return for 3 days (as per his assistant’s calendar) and I’m aware of his friendship and previous visits to Clement Freud, in Praia de Luz.
But despite it always being in the back of my mind, I’ve never seen actual confirmation of him (or Tony) being in Portugal on the 3rd May.
That would be a game changer in the case.
