    Which helps SPD if this becomes a bigger national conversation 

    > Only 9% now say that foreign nationals and asylum-seekers are given preferential treatment over Germans.

    I did find this interesting, because that wouldn’t explain why CDU and AfD are at 50% (I know they’re unlikely to go into coalition with each other)
