Perish seems extreme. Reform, reconfigure, and reconstitute instead. It’s not a bad thing to have a centralized place for diplomacy where world leaders can deliver an annual speech to all the other nations. It’s just the missions that the UN engages in are rife with corruption and generally ineffective. But, a scaled down version as a physical place to conduct global diplomacy for issues that impact a large number of nations seems worthwhile.
