From the data shown, it's abundantly clear which "side" is more pro-American and this is true even when we have democrat Presidents governing America. It seems as if for many Canadian/Euro/Aus liberals admiration of America was limited only to Obama. Yes some of the anti-American sentiment may be related to Trump and his chaotic policies but even when Biden was President there was still anti-Americanism and its clear that people have a bone to pick with America in general, not just Trump and that this sentiment is more prevalent on the left.
Obviously Trump 2 has been horrendous in terms of damaging public opinion of the US abroad, and indeed public opinion of the USA was the highest under Obama in many allied nations like UK, France, Canada, Australia, etc. But even under Obama & Biden, the right was still far more positive towards the USA than the left in those countries. Indeed, it's not as if the anti-american sentiment in those places just magically started on 1/20/25 or 1/20/17 but was prevalent far before then.
It doesn't mean that all foreign right wingers are pro-American and that all left wingers are anti-American (plenty of center-left governments were happy to cooperate and work with the US in the Obama & Biden era), but even though there might be disagreement on economic & social policy there is clearly common ground to be had with the foreign right in terms of America's role in the world and seeking closer relations with the US, that doesn't seem to exist as much on the foreign left especially now seeing as America's public image globally is worse than even in Bush's Presidency and Trump 1, as many in foreign nations are questioning America altogether and not just Trump.

Most far-right Europeans that are pro-Trump used to be anti-US and probably support him because they believe that he will weaken the US.
The American government supported right wing governments throughout the world during the Cold war and helped suppress left wing political movements
This is well known and not complicated
yeah, turns out america isn’t great about being liberal
I make that we are and have always been conservative leaning. Ik the “American democrats would be right wing in Europe” was memed to death but any country that has a significant % of people believing Joe Biden and Barack Obama are far left is fundamentally conservative tilted.
This is simply the same opinion shift we see in the US itself, whenever one party replaces the other, albeit on a smaller scale.
I hate Gerhard Schröder, but I was happy to have him as chancellor rather than Merkel during the Iraq war, because he kept us out of it, just like how the people in this sub would have loved to have Al Gore as president rather than Bush. The anti-American position was correct at the time. Why are European opponents of the Iraq war or are critical of US FoPo measured by such a different standard than US opposition?
The problem is, was, and will always be the fucking US Republicans. US allies understand very well that there are two Americas. At this point it borders on delusion to pretend otherwise. Who can blame our allies for hating Trump’s America? Are we going to draw the conclusion that Trump and the far right are correct, because (surprise, surprise) the same type of fascist freaks like Trump in Europe?
I think the premise of this post is rather silly tbh.
Left wing = Anti Imperialism = Anti US, is a formula in a lot of countries
