Sussan Ley was certainly not an inspirational leader, but she’d truly been dealt a catastrophic hand. From the Nationals drama (twice over!) to having to lead after the party’s worst defeat, she just got washed with bad news.
Angus Taylor though reads similarly bland to me, especially from my time seeing him as Shadow Treasurer. I suppose I’m just glad it isn’t Andrew Hastie.
If I was a member of the Liberal moderate wing, I would be fuming tbh.
