The last reason is a good one. Sex leads to babies, and babies are REALLY expensive. In a world where kids can’t afford to buy a house or even rent a decent apartment, why would they want to bring a baby into their lives? They can’t afford life, let alone a family and house. At the same time, if they put down the phone for more than an hour a day, they’d realize having actual humans around that you like is far superior to doom scrolling reddit.

Have you been around gen z women before? They expect upfront payments just for them to show up places. Not to mention they want the most expensive things and expect the man to foot the bill for everything, even if they have more money than the man.
It’s not surprising they aren’t having sex considering the hoops men would have to jump through to get a gen z woman to even so much as to go on one date.

Why would they be having more sex? On the men’s part, that implies dealing with young women, which are an absolute leftist nightmare (and I say this as a 28 year old man who deals with women his age and younger constantly). On the women’s part, they’ve been told for so long that they can live without men that they now believe it.

While alcohol is technically a depressant, it doesn’t really work like that in social situations; plus it lowers inhibitions. Pot just mellows you into inactivity….

I think they just don’t care about face to face, interpersonal relationships.
They get their dopamine rush exclusive from their devices, social media in particular. They’re obsessed with the constant rush from influencers, 15 second tik tok videos, Instagram, and snapchat. And of course its all operating on an algorithm that identifies what they like. They just keep scrolling and keep getting hits of things they want to see and hear. This is absolutely destroying this country.

I’m about to turn 50 so I’m not familiar with what the dating scene is like for Gen Z but if even half of GenZ women are anything like the cringe harpies who post in political subs or r/twoxchromosomes, I can’t imagine wanting to socialize with them long enough to lead to anything
