    Interesting article on floating LNG plants and their potential. It’s a good point raised in howw they doo not face the dangers of instability that onshore plants can face in developing nations but at the same time the costs of building continue to be a real issue. Increased LNG production does have the advantage of reducing overall costs which can be important especially if it can help substitute out gas from dubious sources so to speak.

    I’d also like to appreciate the sheer globalism of a factory built by a Chinese company, designed by Japanese firms, operated by an Italian company, and delivering gas to Europe.
