To be clear this person is in a Canadian organization that lobbies for US automakers, including those based in Canada. As such they, to an extent also lobby for Canadian workers.
But since Trump has messed with the supply chains factories are beginning to move over to the US anyways. And I also don’t think that EV sales, at present, are eating into ICE sales from Amercian car companies.
But even if they did, the Ameeican car companies deserve it.
