  1. Stories like this are why I can no longer support MAID and kick myself for supporting it in the first place. It puts too much power in the hands of the government. They don’t want to pay for your recovery or for the support you need? Into the compost bin you go.

    I hate this kind of soft language to make people feel better about their lack of value for human life. Correct words are killed, executed, murdered, etc.

  3. I watched a parent experience extended, excruciating, horrendous pain for weeks until they passed away.
    Medications didn’t touch it, morphine didn’t even do anything until it knocked her unconscious. Hospice couldn’t keep the dosage that high as it depresses breathing. Anybody who doesn’t understand why assisted suicide for terminally ill people in excruciating pain should be an option, have never witnessed the suffering and horror.

    However

    Assisted suicide for anything else is evil wrapped up in a fake
    wrapper of caring.

    Make no mistake, 18 states here in the US already OK this type of thing. I’ll never understand why a population would allow this. Sickening.
