Yet another President of Perú ousted by the Congress. And we have to ask ourselves, once again:
A system that keeps removing the corrupt from office , is a good system? Or the instability to rule makes thing worse?
New President will be elected tomorrow at noon

TIL Peru isn’t a parliamentary republic, but its Congress has the capability remove the most powerful person in the country from the office (and looks like it uses and abuses this capability extensively), though in this case it seems justified
If it wasn’t for the independent central bank Peru would be Venezuela levels of failing.
The only way to describe Peruvian politics is the political class constantly changes, stealing and enriching themselves, and while the civil service, bureaucracy, and industrial backbone just keep chugging along.
At this point just ask ChatGPT to govern bruh
