A national ID issued at birth by the hospital verifying who you are to replace the de facto shitty I’d we have now is so much better. Once you turn 18 all you have to do is show proof of address and present your ID at the polling station. Saves so much bureaucracy in the current system

Voter fraud is [virtually nonexistent](https://www.brookings.edu/articles/how-widespread-is-election-fraud-in-the-united-states-not-very/) in the US, the entire point of the SAVE Act is to disenfranchise people, mainly the poor and transient. No election outcome in the entire history of the United States has ever been altered by ballot fraud.
