Turley’s take shows Trump has plenty of tariff levers left, bypassing SCOTUS for America First wins.
This crushes globalist trade agendas, protecting jobs.
Will Bessent pull the trigger fast?

I think I came to the realization some time ago that the Supreme court would likely strike down the *mechanism* for the tariffs but acknowledge that the tariffs themselves could be used as a national security tool.
I’m not too upset about this because I expected it.
Definitely, of the opinion that Trump and his Admin came to this realization as well and likely started preparing contingency plans and shoring up their legal arguments for these alternative mechanisms some time ago. I agree with the assessment that there are likely better, more legally sound methods for implementing most of the tariffs.
Definitely still think tariffs are an awful tool if used for economic reasons alone, but a very strong tool if used for national security reasons.
