Even without all the historical cases of this sort of thing being a disaster, what actually makes people think this is a good thing?
You’re accepting your own people don’t feel a desire to fight for you.
You’re importing people who either didn’t want to even fight for their own country either or did and very well may still hold those strong loyalties but are now getting armed and trained in your land.
