The latest development in the US efforts to take over Greenland. Its unclear, what thr point of the ship actually is, does the US actually think people need help? Is it full of little green men? Or is the goal just to bankrupt Greenlanders through US health care?
We are still waiting for a Danish and Greenlandic response, but the hospital ship would put them in a tight spot. Refusing it access would both undermine the Danish/Greenlandic statements of “you’re always welcome to expand your presence” and be a refusal of “help” coming to Greenland, which Trump could further use in his campaign.
Accepting the ship is risky, because you don’t know what the point of it is. Could there be something deeper going on?
Either way, it would be up to Greenland to decide what to do.
Edit: the Danish Minister of Defense has not heard of any plans to send a hospital ship to Greenland, and says Greenland does not need any outside help.

Add to that his administration is filled by yes-men minions who will go even as far as allowing him to nuke Hungary just because he whined about it.
