Russia is still steadily recruiting large numbers of soldiers, but the recruitment costs keep increasing, suggesting that the pool of wiling soldiers is shrinking faster than some have expected
this will likely lead to Russia rellying more on foreign mercs such as Cubans or those from Africa and South Asia( but whose performance and loyalty is questionable, as Ukrainian sources suggest foregners are far more likely to surrender when given the oportunity)

contract soldiers in Sankt Petersburg are now promised 10 million rubles per year or roughly 130,000 dollars
even acounting for the high salaries in the region, tha**t would be like US soldiers getting 500k USD first year**
