    Russia is still steadily recruiting large numbers of soldiers, but the recruitment costs keep increasing, suggesting that the pool of wiling soldiers is shrinking faster than some have expected

    this will likely lead to Russia rellying more on foreign mercs such as Cubans or those from Africa and South Asia( but whose performance and loyalty is questionable, as Ukrainian sources suggest foregners are far more likely to surrender when given the oportunity)
