Why is this relevant: Gavin Newsom has indicated that he is going to run for President in 2028 and is one of the frontrunners.
I cannot think of a single instance where even the most woke Democrats like squad members AOC or Ilhan Omar or Rashida Tlaib or Ayanna Pressley haven’t been focused on kitchen table issues. Even the most “culturally abnormal” representative Sarah McBride didn’t take Republican bait when they tried to criminalise her bathroom usage.
The GOP is weird as hell. We meme about Kristi Noem shooting her dog, and then we buy the GOP line that MAGA is normal and the true problem that blue hair is weird and crazy.
