America has long been a global destination for educated professionals and retained its own workforce through having extremely high wages. It seems like that’s not enough to keep its workforce because of Trump.

A Gallup poll last year found 40% of American women, ages 15-44, would like to permanently move overseas, if possible. One of the highest in the world – in fact this number is higher than the proportion of SubSaharan africans who would move abroad if possible.

Americans have flooded Europe (Italy, Germany, Ireland) and Canada with citizenship requests, desperate for a ‘Plan B’ that many of these countries have started to reduce eligibility when possible.

This is compounded with a record low migration number that risks the US’ population decreasing.

  2. I can’t do it yet because I have to take care of an elderly, cancer-stricken mother and of my partner’s situation, but we are making plans to do this eventually if necessary.

I’m not going to live indefinitely in a country run by fascist morons.
