I’ve really worried as of late that they are going to impovrish everyone without 8 figure net worths by inflating us out of debt.

I believe the Netherlands is doing a wealth tax on unrealized capital gains. I think we should all take a moment to thank the Dutch for their sacrifice.

I am all for increasing taxes if they go to pay down pir debt and we curb the spending on entitlements and foreign war adventures.
Problem is that neither party has interest in reducing spending. Doge was a good idea but it didn’t go deep enough.
Since there is no political will to fix the spending problem, only option left will be to inflate debt away.
